Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the validation of the asset list for medical equipment and managing it in the Asset Management System (AMS).
  • Assist in providing technical advice on medical equipment operation and maintenance, modifications/upgrades, and the preparation of documentation/reports such as Condition Appraisal (CA) reports, technical reports, tender documents, specifications, and defect lists.
  • Ensure the most efficient and cost-effective operation of Medical Equipment and hospital assets by ensuring the effective implementation of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programs following industry standards.
  • Provide basic front-line services support and corrective maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Ensure the success and implementation of predictive and corrective maintenance practices that lead to best practices.
  • To monitor the service vendor, as well as the testing and commissioning of new medical equipment and devices.
  • Check stock level, raise Purchase Requisition (PR), receive stock and stock keeping.
  • Assist the Head of Laboratory and other laboratory personnel in the operation of medical equipment.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with all quality management system policies and procedures.
  • To ensure that equipment installation and facility modifications incorporate operation and maintenance methodology that is consistent with the hospital’s overall operation and maintenance philosophy.
  • To perform any other duties as assigned by the head of services.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or any related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience.
  • Proven experience as a biomedical technician in laboratory and healthcare settings.
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic and analytical laboratory equipment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing biomedical equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the Laboratory Information System (LIS) is working smoothly and monitored (help with re-sending lab results to the branch if no result receives a complaint)
  • Develop the module of Laboratory Information System (LIS) when necessary. (such as upgrading the reporting line, payment method (JomPay), etc)
  • Keep up to date with the latest technology and able to propose feasible and cost-effective IT solutions.
  • Link the machine with LIS for the host interface on all existing and new machines.
  • Prepare proper documentation related to the LIS application.
  • Assist the development team by providing them with data and consultation on the user workflow for project development.
  • Monitor closely all requests or enquiries from the user related to LIS to be solved within the SLA period.
  • Perform data extraction from the system as required by the end user.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in the IT division.
  • Proven experience in IT management, preferably in a laboratory or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and attend to the breakdown of hardware support (e.g., identifying hardware problems faced by all staff, especially lab, attending to networking issues, installing new workstations, or replacing workstation network cabling).
  • Administration/installation of computer systems and servers.
  • Supervise, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain all operations of servers, system backup, firewall, communications, network system, emails, and anti-virus.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all computers and servers as scheduled.
  • Carry out interface job/activity in linking the machine with LIS for the host interface.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technology and able to propose feasible and cost-effective IT solutions.
  • Handle purchasing processes related to IT services requirements.
  • Liaise with the Group IT team to ensure all IT services follow the correct policy provided by them.
  • Manage door access and PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange).
  • Prepare proper documentation related to the MIS environment.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in the IT division.
  • Proven experience in IT management, preferably in a laboratory or healthcare setting.

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue intensity by promoting and optimizing the usage of our laboratory products.
  • Identify and target new customers, including private hospitals, corporate clients, and government institutions, to expand our market presence.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deepen solution offerings per service, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market demands.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, fostering relationships that contribute to business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Design, implement, and manage incentive plans to motivate and drive the sales team toward achieving revenue and customer acquisition targets.
  • Oversee and enhance the account management process, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and identifying upselling opportunities.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any related discipline with a focus in biomedical science or healthcare.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a product specialist role within the laboratory or healthcare industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical laboratory products and services.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a focus on revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage partnerships effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train other junior CLS or MLT in relevant and proper histology procedures, including specimen receiving and accessioning, tissue grossing, tissue processing, embedding, cutting (microtomy), and staining.
  • Prepare and label slides or specimens, using special cutting and specified stains, to enhance visibility under the microscope as required.
  • Perform microscope-based quality assessments of stained and unstained tissue sections for subsequent diagnostic review.
  • Participate in the development and execution of laboratory protocol, as appropriate to the objectives of the position.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced electronic histological equipment including electronic instruments; oversee and ensure maintenance of quality, safety, and infection control standards of laboratory activities.
  • Be involved in any accreditations, certifications, and any other evaluation programs the company decides to participate in; oversee and ensure protocols or procedures are made available and reviewed as required, records are maintained, controlled, reviewed, and kept well for traceability purposes. Participate in internal & external audits.
  • Perform computerized data entry of all work performed and generate reports as required.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field particularly Biomedical Sciences with at least 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to process computer data and format and generate reports.
  • Ability to prepare slides and/or specimens for microscopy using established protocols and techniques.
  • Ability to utilize, troubleshoot, and maintain computerized laboratory and/or histological equipment.
  • Ability to develop and maintain housekeeping, safety, and infection control programs, procedures, and protocols.
  • Knowledge of rapid tissue processing and horizontal and frozen section techniques.
  • Knowledge of the principles and procedures of laboratory procedures.
